Weekend with the Sparrows

Saturday was the Open House in Idaho for Charlie and Melissa. It was fun to see all the people from the West Side. We have lived in Idaho for over a year now, and I feel like I saw the old ward members more before we moved because when we came to visit we would attend church with mom and dad. Now we have our own ward.
Here is a picture of Grandma and Grandpa with the Grandkids. They actually were all good kids. I set up a few toys in the Primary room and a movie. J, Mason, and Kaz took turns giving talks into the microphone. John took our kids home to put them in bed at 8:30. They were so tired. I stayed and visited with the crowd that came in at 9:00 when Stake Conference ended.
Aunt Ina and Aunt Priscilla helped out in the kitchen. We served cheesecake. For the family there was croissant sandwiches and salads. Mom always makes sure everyone is taken care of.
On Sunday after Stake Conference we had dinner and birthday cake for Kaz and Melissa. Kaz turned 4 on Sunday, and Melissa's big 21st was on Thursday.

1st Day of School

Thursday August 21, 2008
When J woke up at 7:15 he started running down the hall. "I've got to hurry or I will miss the bus." He was very excited to go to school. He ate Lucky Charms, got dressed, brushed his teeth, did his hair and was out the door by 7:35.
The bus comes at 7:45am.

And gets home at 3:25pm.
After school J said it was a very long day. He said when Mrs. Murry was reading a story he fell asleep. He said it was fun to take his own lunch, and he gave his fruit snacks away.

Later in the evening J said he wanted to go see other planets. I told him being an Antronat would be very exciting, but you have to go to school for a long time. He said "like 2 days?"

On a side note do you see the cherry tomato plant in the pot. We I have yet to eat a red tomato, James and Jakub take off the green ones as soon has they see them. It is so great to finally have the grass strong enough that we can play in the back yard.

Mills Day

We had a very fun family day on Saturday. Meet Sarah! She will be marrying Jaren on Nov. 22, 2008. Yes, I know I just posted a brother wedding and here we go again......We are very excited to have Sarah a part of our family.
J was the passenger in Johns go cart. He loved riding with dad.
We all golfed together in 3 teams. 12 Adults and 9 kids. All the other activities required someone to sit out with the 3 toddlers and 2 infants. We all decided next time we need to have an adult day and get babysitters for the kids.
James and Jakub loved running around to arcade pushing buttons and watching the go carts go fast. ( can you tell Jakub is getting teeth? )

Hitched

My baby brother got married yesterday. Picture this.....a small sealing room in the Logan temple, Paige, Karen and Myself were seated on chairs with our spouses standing behind us. What a special day for me to be at the temple with my parents and siblings. We are all now sealed and part of our own true families. Here are Grandma and Grandpa with their 7 grandkids at the reception.
I am grateful to my Father in Heaven for sending me to wonderful parents that taught me to love the gospel. I am sealed forever to a great man. He is perfect for me and we have the cutest boys in the world. I hope someday we can be in the temple with our kids and see them start their own eternal families.
